** Modern advancements in technology and particularly in the field of information
technology are given the due share and appreciation in launching the new initiatives
and endeavors of NCRI.
** NCRI proposes to establish a computerized Rural Resource Informatics Center (RRIC)
networked with various national and international databases to utilize these databases
to provide value added services which would help in establishing monitoring decision
support systems at various levels of programme implementation.
